Roy Gray | CFP®
Roy Gray is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has been providing financial guidance, planning and investment management to clients since 2001. Roy joined the firm in 2006 and was named partner in 2011. As the architect of the Dynamic Allocation Investment Process™, Roy serves as the chair of our investment committee.
Education and Experience
Roy holds Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses, as well as life, health, long-term care, and property and casualty insurance licenses. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter of the Financial Planning Association and is an instructor in Southern Methodist University’s Certificate Program in Financial Planning.
Roy served our great country in the United States Navy during Operation Desert Shield/Storm and was honorably discharged in 1993. After graduating from Spartan School of Aeronautics and earning his commercial pilot license and advanced ground instructor rating, Roy completed a Certificate in Financial Planning in 2001 from Kaplan University. In 2006, Roy earned the prestigious Certified Financial Planner™ certification.
Personal Life
Roy and his wife, Susanne, moved to Dallas in 2006. In 2009, Roy and Susanne were blessed with the opportunity to adopt a baby boy. In 2015 they were blessed yet again with the adoption of a baby girl. When Roy is not busy analyzing the markets and developing solutions for clients, he enjoys spending time with Susanne, playing games with their son, A.J, swimming with their daughter Maeli and squeezing in a few rounds of golf.
